ABOUT SAM

   In a field that is made of countless little projects specific to the production, I find the challenge of forever expanding on the knowledge you posses to be a wondrous thing. No work I have ever done has been the same as the last. One week I will be draping a corset, another I will be experimenting with the best way to sew latex superhero pants. A willingness to experiment, fail, learn from said failure, then try again is an important skill needed in the costume technology field.

   I do not shy away from the challenging, complex, and sometimes downright weird requests that come my way. In fact, I live for those projects. I am an artist of research and development, of creativity, and of collaboration who seeks to foster an environment of constant learning and perfect practice.
